Michelle Foran, Clinical Director
Michelle Foran is the Clinical Director of Early Autism Services’ Boston location. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Science Degree in Autism Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Michelle has worked in the field of ABA since 2014, primarily with young children between the ages of 2-12 in home-based settings. She feels strongly that that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach for behavioral interventions. She strives to utilize a comprehensive approach to ABA in which all individuals of a treatment team – including clients, family members, supervisees – are equally valued and collaborate to achieve optimal treatment outcomes. Beyond working with families in home settings, Michelle has a passion for research. She invested time in conducting behavior analytic research, co-authored a few publications and also presented research findings at national conferences. Additionally, she is especially interested in research to stimulus control and conditioned motivating operations; she plans to conduct future research to examine the ways in which they impact the effectiveness of treatment, and create innovative strategies to improve ABA methodology.
